Cohousing

There are so many benefits to living in a cohousing community!  We can't count the number of times we have borrowed or lent cars, shared tools or lost our kids for the afternoon as they made their way to friends' houses.  We spend Sunday dinnertime catching up with neighbors over good food, and bond over snowstorms as we shovel and plow together.

We also love the many trails that wind through our jointly-owned 27 acres of forest, the huge community garden, and the many birds and animals that we share this place with (we once had a tame porcupine hang out in our front yards!).

We're happy to share cohousing stories, but you can learn a lot more about the nuts and bolts of our community by visiting the official web page:

In the meantime, here are a few views of our neighborhood:

A community-built treehouse, one of several fun features for Rocky Hill's children.
